Wakemans

Situated on the east side of the village at the bottom of Wakemans is one of two play areas available for residents. A large playing field has a basketball court with hard surfacing on one side and on the other a variety of play equipment. A small climbing frame with bridges and a slide is perfect for toddlers along with a cradle-seat swing. For older children there are more swings, a see-saw and a more challenging climbing frame. There is also ample space around the equipment for ball games, as well as a couple of benches. The playground is fenced off with a self-close gate.

 Village Hall

The large playing field behind the village hall has a variety of equipment catering for children of all ages. If you head around the side of the hall you will find a separate play area devoted to toddlers with a small play unit and Wendy House set on a soft rubber surface. The main field has all-weather football goals, a climbing frame to test even the most skilled adventurers as well as swings, a slide and various other pieces. A short walk across the main pitch takes you to the zip line, perfect for older children and safely fenced off for those watching. As well as providing entertainment for the children there is also a comprehensive range of outdoor gym equipment.
